Political call for Geoff Pollock, a guy running in the upcoming byelection in toronto center. I asked if he'd ever attended the Gay Pride Parade we have every year and if not why not and she then suggested I was part of a "homosexual agenda" and hung up on me.

I asked why they needed to call 4 times in 2 days on behalf of someone we've never heard of.
The response was to make people aware of the upcoming by-election in Toronto proper
and to encourage our support. When I asked "Who the hell is this guy - as he's not in our
neighbourhood, nor is his constituency office - why would we support him?"
The response was he's been around for years and is well known.
To which I asked "If that's the case, what 'Riding' and 'Party' did he represent."
I was told 'Toronto Centre' (immediate downtown) and the 'Conservatives.'
I then said "A Conservative in the downtown core, good luck with that. No wonder we've never heard of him."
They hung up on me as well.
