I got the same call too, The officers name was Ronnie Parker batch # on4471 I first was upset as he said if I donot pay the out standing amount within an hour , I would be arrested & they will take me to the court. So I called 911 & spoke to RCMP . First I panic but after talking to RCMP found out its a scam.
A person claiming to be an officer from Canada Revenue Agency, saying that there is a case filed against me by CRA. I did not reveal any personal info to him and asked him to mail me official written communication if there is a case against me (which I knew there was none) and hung up. Called CRA and found this call to be fraudulent and reported to Canadian Anti Fraud Center as well.
Yes the same number called me as well. He said his name was Rahul Patel but I complained to the anti fraud centre of Canada and this issue hopefully will be solved. And if you just searched the number up good choice. DONNOT panic, DONNOT accept his complaint or anything.
