Already had this number blocked, so phone only rang once at 7:00 pm today. Thank god for the internet and sharing about scams! Am on the DO NOT CALL list but it seems to be useless. Bought a phone system with "Call Block" option on it ... Worth every penny.
Do not answer unrecognized callers. Far too many untouchable bottom feeders and con artists using robo callers and spoofed numbers these days trying to make a quick buck. Direct marketing cold callers are very much in the same boat.And just as I was about to enjoy a pork roast dinner
Said he was with some windows and doors company and they were giving free quotes. Asked if I had any Windows or doors in my residence. I said I wasn't the home owner and he asked if I was over 18. I said no (I'm 22). Then I hung up. A minute later I get a call from a number that comes from a person in my town but when I answered it, it was the same guy. I said I am not the home owner. Again he asked me if I was 18. I said no. He asked when a better time was to call and I said I don't know. He asked me who I was and I told him he didn't need to know. I said the owner doesn't need any Windows or doors. He said okay and thanked me for my time. Then started to tell me that I have a nice voice as I was hanging up on him again.
I spoke to someone who was trying to sell windows and doors. They have called two times from this number.
When questioned they say they are in Toronto but with the Indian accent I could not make out where,
