i have received numerous calls from the number which I don't answer. They come up long distance and call twice in succession . I have now blocked the number but they will probably find another way to try and get through.
A guy with an Indian Accent called, and asked to speak to the "lady of the home". I told him to take the number off his call list, as I wasn't interested in anymore phone calls during from this number. He asked me if I wanted to "get f*cked". This was at 10:00am, and I was home sick from work, and I was completely shocked and upset. He continued to tell me that "I would like to f*ck you". Even knowing that area code is from Ontario, I feel completely violated and unsafe.
I filed a complaint with the CRTC. If this guy calls you, I would strongly urge you to file a similar complaint and don't engage with him over the phone. It is more upsetting and shocking than I thought it could be to have someone who I don't know say such awful and explicit things to me over the phone while I was at home by myself.
Southern Alberta. Caller ID was NODID. Didn't recognize name or number so didn't answer. The number is probably spoofed as having many such calls last few days including my own number. Don't expect much to be done since it's possibly offshore and as nice Canadians we wouldn't want to offend our trading partners even when they are completely offensive to us.
