I received a letter saying I've won $150,000 and enclosed was a check for $3550 to use to pay the taxes in the amount of $1,475. I wasn't to cash the check until I called this number 1-647-865-0104 which is a Ontario, Canada number but the person who answered told me he was in NY. The check was from First American Title Insurance Company with a Las Vegas address. There was also an international number on the letter which is 011447031881017. He told me that I won by shopping at Walmart and Home Depot in the last 2 years. I won't deposit that check because then they will have my account number and be able to wipe out all my money in my account.
