Yes I think they are the same outfit that were calling from Singapore recently. You can call from a computer from any country you like I think so they won't. E actually in Canada. The rip off a respected investment company web site and alter it with their names etc.
They try and get you to invest in stocks especially Apple and it's a big scam. Never use their web site links always look them up directly - anyhow don't speak to them is my advise
I live in the UK too, born and bred here and I'm so thankful that I've found someone else that was called by them. What did they say to you? And what phone company are you with??
I was called today too (I am in UK). No message left but I think these guys are probably wanting to help me claim compensation for an accident I never had. I am not interested in scamming insurance companies as we all pay for this through higher premiums - not to mention the dishonesty of it !
