I received a text message that I could talk with someone about a job I had applied for. I was informed that I should call 650-200-1754. That was strange because the phone number on top of the text was a 731 area code, and the local job I applied for is in a 615 area code. I applied for a job in Tennessee. The 650 area code is in CA. I went to Spokeo.com to look up the 650 number and found out there were 25 complaints about that number. Like all of the people before me, I think it is a scam. Furthermore, whenever I have been called to come to an interview in the past, I receive an actual physical phone call, never a text. Most business would be calling from a landline and you can't text from those.

I received the same message telling me to call. I text back and ask for a name and received no response. I looked up the number and landed here. I am from Ohio.
I revived a texted 3:00AM ( what HR does that? I thought only a psyhco ex would be doing that) but I called it back with a block number several times and I would get hung up on, told to call back with my number unblocked. I mean what company would text you to call them back. Sorry but it started getting fishy when they texted 3 in the morning my time (Hawaii) these are scammers!!! Try it out call with a blocked number
I just received a text from (518) 302-4394 saying they were interested in speaking with me regarding me recent job search and to call them at (650) 200-1754. They don't say who they are or anything, so I have no idea what this is about.
