I called this number back from a different phone to see who it was. The person who answered had a heavy Indian accent and said that the company name is called ZENTA. He asked me who I was and asked how I got their number. I told him my girlfriend told me to call to see who was harrasing her. lol.
a little more research and found their website http://zenta.com/. Collection companies outsource through Zenta.
This number is on my phone 5 times already today! It's only noon. I don't answer because the calls are on my cell phone. There is never any messages. Getting real P O ed!!
Just started getting calls yesterday, didn't recognize the # so I didn't answer. Reading these posts now I know who and what they are and now I know I wont bother answering!
Got a call, Indian with thick accent, said he was from some company starting with a Z.
It's a collection agency... and if you look on your credit report, you will see that they searched your credit.
It's likely that he doesn't know where the original debt came from, and they are just grasping at straws. If you don't have any debts (for credit cards) listed on your credit report, the debts are no longer valid. Don't answer, and change your number.
