Who called from 6502428663

Claimed to be a Mrs Hunter calling about a matter that has arisen in their office associating me with a defendant. A fake sounding case number was giving and no other viable information. Other websites listed this number as a scam.

I also received the same exact message from Mrs. Hunter. She left  a voicemail with my FIRST NAME as follows. “Good morning this message is for _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ my name is Mrs. Hunter I'm calling in regards to a matter that has arisen in my office that is associating you to the defendant. Please give us a return call to ascertain any information you may have. Ask for file number is CD2439 my direct line is 650-242-8663 thank you…” When I called her secretary picked up who by the way sounds just like Mrs. Hunter. I was transferred to Mrs. Hunter who asked me if the number I was calling from the number in reference and I said YES. She asked me if I knew Stephen Pierce, I said NO. She proceeded to let me know that was all she needed. :/ I may have fallen victim to a scam. I've read about a scam where they can steal from you with your voice recording saying YES. I should have known better...

I did not wait for her to transfer me, so I hung up.

Mrs Hunter at something investigations calling because I was given as a reference for George Vaska from washington. It was a made up bunch of fluf no such person known.
