Same caller as 415-527-3705. Auto dialer robo call. Doubtful call is legitimate. Please file a complaint with the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1.
More than likely you were contacted by a lead center (read that as "boiler room.") They are filled with barely literate rodents who will become quickly flustered if you repeatingly interrupt them causing them to lose their place reading from the assigned script. Their goal is to get you to commit to an appointment with this information being sold to an equally dishonest solar panel installer (too many names to list here.) To stay one step ahead of law enforcement, they regularly change their names. A scam outfit calling itself "National Renewable Energy Center" is perhaps the worst offender operating in California.
This number has been repeatedly calling me for the last two days. If you answer be prepared to be audibly assaulted with egregious "music" that plays for a minute, then a recording engages asking you to leave a message with your name and phone number. I screamed at the top of my lungs to "Stop calling me!" Maybe those illiterate fools in those calls centers will take my threat and not ignore it!
