Despite being on the national do-not-call registry, I received an unsolicited call from this number. "Lucy" said she was calling from "Green World Pro Energy" and that this was not a sales call. She said her company was offering a special deal on solar energy systems for California residences. Sounded like a sales call to me (or perhaps a scam). I reported the call to the national do-not-call registry (not that they'll do anything about it) and blocked the number.
Same old spoofed-number solar energy robocalling cave dwellers, using one of many insipid names, with which they try to suggest that they are sustainable energy advocates instead of DNC regulation violators. The FCC actually has sanctioned solar energy robocalling "businesses" in last couple years. Scammers can also be sued in Civil Courts, with damages possible for every violating robocall received. Monetary damages are awarded to those suing under existing Do Not Call regulations.
