rec'd call 650-264-4210 at 12:45 pm. No caller ID except the phone number repeated. This is a California area code from San Mateo. I did not pic up they left message on answering machine stating " 2nd Documented attempt our firm made to reach you (said my name here) about a complaint filed against your social security number and time is of the essence for you to call back and give your side of the story. Your co-operation is helpful but not necessary. Please call as soon as possible 268-834-0576." end of message. 268 area code is in Antigua and Barbuda. This appears to be a huge scam to defraud ;you of your ss number and steal your identity and rack up huge phone bills if you call them back. In the message they din't even identify the firm or give their name. Number was blocked.
Never, never, never, never, never, never, answer a call when you don't recognize the number and especially if it has no name on the caller id. when is somebody going to do something about all these scammers and crooks?
