They called 6 times in the last 2 weeks but only left a message once.

The reason for my call is because according to the information I have here on file, it states that you are eligible to receive a guaranteed vacation for two giveaway. It is important that you do contact me regards to your entry form..." (Not a typo.) He goes on to say that he has great, great news and to call him back at 866-960-1914.
I've heard these scams before. They tell you that you can get a free vacation, all you have to pay for is the airfare. Then they tell you that you have to buy the airline tickets from them at the full rate. Then they'll tell you about other restrictions. Turns out the giveaway will cost you just as much as if you go to a reputable travel agent and chose your own destination and travel dates! It's a scam!

Earlier this evening my husband and I received a telephone call from Shebree Gilbert of CTC, congratulating my husband for his entry of winning a vacation to Hawaii. Apparently, my husband filled out one of those forms at a festival here in Alameda. Well, Ms. Gilbert proceeded to throw in this thing that we had to attend a 90 minute presentation at the Hilton Garden Inn in Milpitas in order to claim our prize. The required household income is $55,000 and/or over. Well, we don't qualify for this presentation because our income is less than $50,000. Then she called back and told us to go ahead and attend the presentation, but circle that we earn $55,000...ain't gonna do it...that's lying. They called me and left no message , I called the number back and its a tele markete, "something. Travel" its from the Dixon May Fair, I was stupid enough to put my # on a free giveaway. I asked them to remove my # and he politley said he was going to give the ipad to someone else. Lol.
My situation is the same as Craig's. I've been called multiple times in the last three months. At first it was once every three weeks. The last week it's been twice a day. They're finally leaving messages telling me how much I'm missing out on this iPad. Aw shucks!
