they texted me saying there was unusual activity on my yahoo email account and that i needed to respond with the code that yahoo actually sent me. they use this code to generate a new temporary password to hack you. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. these people are sick.
This is a scam. They almost had me, asked me a bunch of questions about the website I just created and they had a lot of info (must be public) and I was confirming all the info they had until they asked for my CC info and wanted me to provide them with all 16 digits.
I received a call from this number today but did not speak into the phone. It disconnected. I tried to call back but got a busy signal. I blocked the caller's number and reported it to the donotcall.gov registry where my phone number is listed.
