Yes, I get calls from this number claiming that they are a legal agency trying to collect for ACE pay day loan.
Also saying that they know I have a new checking account and will be deducting funds from that account using my social. Then I got a call saying that if I didn't pay I would be served with papers. I think the are frauds.

It is a fraud, collectors can not just get your money without you going to court and the judge can only do that. In Texas they can only freeze bank accounts for child support and taxes.
They certainly sound like frauds. Simply tell them to mail you (NOT e-mail or Fax.) a legitimate, and verifiable, notice of validation. As per federal law under the FDCPA. When they refuse or start making excuses, they've proven they're scammers. Simple as that!
