caller identified herself as "Rose" calling on behalf of my "electrical company." So I asked her which one. She repeated "your electric company." So I asked her again which company name. She said "California something something". I told her that is not my electric company. I told her I'm waiting for another call, I don't have time for this so please put my number on DNC. then she started to say "no, we're representing PG&E". I told her I don't believe her. then she went on a long winded sob story, "you don't believe me? why wouldn't you believe me..." blah blah blah. Professional companies do not do this so I just hung up.
I wrote a cease and desist letter to these folks and I recommend you all do the same. I send it return receipt so I will know when they get it.

For several months your telemarketers have been calling from various numbers several times a day, every day to tell us about solar. Despite expressing my disinterest the calls continue. Often times, the when I answer the phone no one responds. The Callers include (650) 591-7578, (650) 365-3691, (650) 883-1212 and (650) 888-9013. That is for the past week. I am sure there are more as your rapidly growing army of telemarketers dial happily away (saw your job posting).
I find your practices despicable.
You are required to cease and desist from contacting me in this and any related matters unless it is by United States Mail, and only for the purpose of providing me with requested information. I work for a contractor so I really do not need your assistance and I wouldn’t take your advice anyway.
DO NOT CALL [removed]. Calls received after the receipt of this letter will be reported to the FTC.

Got called just now and I let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave a message. I blocked the number on my iPhone. If you ever want to block a number on your iPhone, tap on the encircled "i" to the right of the number on the Recents list. You will then be shown a screen with the "Block Caller' option at the bottom .

I commend Sammy V for taking the time to write the letter to curb these types all calls.
They are sneaky, slimey, scums of the earth companies trying to make money in a deceitful way.

It's been three months, Sammy... anything good happen from your Cease and Desist? I'm getting these calls multiple times a day on my mobile phone, and at home. I can block them on my home number, but I'm unable to catch all of them on my mobile. Block one, and 3 new ones pop up. It's like a weed in your driveway!
