Telemarketer. There IS a way to block future calls from this and every phone number you don't want to have call you. I set up a contact named AD - BLOCK THIS. I add every scam number to this. Have 13 numbers now and growing. On my iPhone, i blocked the call by going to SETTINGS --> PHONE --> BLOCKED and adding the contact name of AD - BLOCK THIS (or whatever you want to call it). I no longer get calls from each of those designated numbers.
Multiple calls each day from that number and 650-679-8454 -same as you all say, no one picks up, possibly a slight static and the start of a voice then dead silence and hang up.Call backs say number is not in service or try your call again later.
How do we report this? I have tried the police but they won't do anything. Caller ID only says san francisco peninsula area.
Has called twice today. Every day I'm getting faked calls of the same kind from different numbers, all apparently tracing back to somewhere in redwood city. If you pick up, there's an instant of sound and then nothing.
