my husband has been receiving calls from this numver and may others offering to refill out prescriptions, no precccscrition required. this has been going on for two years.
they call from many different numbers:
701-214-5353, 777-988-0014, 615-724-7999, 619-781-8912, 646-367-9894, 888-888-5080, 866-420-4157, 765-848-1623, 650-377-1031, 361-854-1167'
the best thing to do to cambat this intrusion is to report any and all call to the DEA, FBI, FTC, attorney general and local law enforcemnt
They call every day, five times a day, always at the same time. 7am, 10am, 1pm, and 5pm PST.
Every time I answer, they hang up. If I don't answer, they don't leave a voice message.
Every time I call back, all I get is a dial tone. It beeps for a while, then goes silent. The phone call never ends unless I hang up myself.
It is quite annoying. I have signed up on the donotcall.gov list, but still get it from this number.
I got a call from this number 12/30/2009. Caller ID said US GOVT. It was at 7:00 PM. I answered as I thought it was from the US GOVT. It was a foreign lady with a very thick accent telling me she was from US Pharmacy and I had a refill to order. I screamed "THIS IS A SCAM and NOT FROM THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT". She hung up on me. How do they get away with this caller ID??? I reported this number to the US Government!!
