They called 5 times in a row and no message. Indeed a collection agency. They are rude. You ask them questions and they answer with a question. So long and have a nice ride.
Ditto to everything all have said above. However, I am going to do what one person said and "answer & end" quickly to trick the computer into thinking it is a bad number to stop the endless calling. I have come to realize that these companies are picking up debts that are "written off" from companies years ago in hopes that they can scare or trick some money from just a fraction of the American people into paying. We are so afraid of our credit scores that many will pay anything to keep that score from dropping. You have many who will start paying just to wipe the debt out and be done with it, and many who have a credit score so bad that it doesn't matter so they don't pay anything. These bozos live off the first set of people, but have to go through millions of all of us to get to them. And sadly, the true companies who wrote off the debts got a tax break for the write-off and will not get any of that money.
It was very hard to understand what she was saying i finally understand she was saying she was calling from northland only because i had her spell it she also had to repeat the callback number several times , she acted like she did not want to give me any information on what/who she was i did not tell her yes or no when she asked if i was hs i was just wanting to know what it was about she said personal matter after i got the company and call back that was the end of our conversation
SAME THING..I ANSWERED & NO ONE WAS THERE..SHOWED UP AS PRIVATE NAME WITH THE NUMBER...WHOEVER THAT WAS APPARENTLY DOESN'T REALIZE THEY ARE CALLING INTERNATIONAL
I get several of these calls EVERY day - even on Sunday and they usually start right at 8:00am and continue through until 9:00pm. Most of the time, no one says a word - they will call my cell and as soon as the call disconnects, they call my house phone. Unlike most of you, I do have debt (not that I choose to not pay my bills, but due to a medical issue I am unable to work but can't get help either) - however, I refuse to deal with debt collectors because every single one that I have tried to "work with" have been down right NASTY as soon as they find out that I can't pay my debt off in one payment. On top of that, I was taken by a debt collector a couple of years ago - I agreed to pay off a discounted debt - as soon as I paid off what they said they would accept to close the file, they sold the balance to yet another debt collector and I was harrassed even to the point of being called a lazy, no good [***] - I absolutely will stay in debt until I die, or until I can afford to file bankruptcy, BUT I WILL NOT DEAL WITH DEBT COLLECTORS!
