Something claiming to be US Tax Assistance as a robocall, calling a business and playing back a recorded message. Given that the number may be associated with the IRS call scam (based on earlier posts), if it smells bad, it probably is.
Illegal telemarketer using a free Google Voice number to call. They claim to be ustaxassistance.org, which is intreresting since there is no such website by that name.
After the robocall recording I talked to "CeeCee" and she said the company name was Tax Assistance Group. I promptly asked her to provide me with a copy of their do not call policy which is required by law under the TCPA. She refused and then hung up on me when I informed her she was breaking the law by not providing this, in writing, to anyone who asks.
