Asked for $17000 to get cocoa beans from a farm not his farm in Ghana to ships to send to US. That's when I thank all of you , I found your information . I texted him to he lost and called him a scammer . I blocked him message wise but email still comes but I delete it
I know a Roland Brooks from Brentwood, TN. He tells me he owns a farm in Ghana. I have asked for a picture too, never will send one. What are some of the other things that he has told you all? I have suspected he was a scammer but don't have any proof. Can someone give me some specifics? Thank you.
He is still out there and even came up with a fake website. Beware ladies because he tries hard to gain your trust and it is a big scam. He wants your address, wants to text, uses broken English and big sob story. Had to leave work to care for his wife dying of cancer, 22 year old daughter dies in a car crash and partner dies of a heart attack and he pays widow mega bucks for her 1/2 of the business because he is a great guy! Do not buy any of it.

As you saw, and happily did not fall for, was what dating scams are all about. Money. If in an online dating site, email, text, phone call, chat, you are at any time asked to send money or presents - it's a scam. Every time.
