Rude telemarketer from a company that I thought was called Quality Air. I told him we were a "Do Not Call" number and that we had not done business with him. I asked him to stop calling. He said that he would continue to call unless I let him talk to my husband.
My answering machine received two calls. Caller ID was DIR ASST CA. Is 555-2325 another number for Directory Assistance? Although calls from this number are new, the ID is also associated with 408-555-8800. Various scams have been reported from the 408 number.
I just got a call but didn't answer. I checked the White Pages and found it as some kind of "Telecom Routing Admin Landline Phone from CA". Out of curiosity I called back and got an automated message saying my call could not be placed because my Virgin mobile phone didn't have enough money and I should top up. I then checked my Virgin Mobile account and found no problem. Also make a call to my other phone, no problem.
Not sure what this number is.
I picked up a call from this number and the caller said that it was time to check my furnace again. The caller claimed that his firm had done work on my furnace in 2010 (false), and upon questioning, was very vague about what this work was. A scam with the purpose of getting into my house?
