Who called from 6505554896

Got a call... hung up during my outgoing message. Assumed robocaller. Only showed "California" on caller ID. Appears as if a local call, which is typical for modern day spammers/scammers (to spoof a local number).   Blocking, for sure.

Got this call said Dir Asst CA, did not answer.

got one of these.  they are targetting people who don't know that "directory assistance" doesn't originate calls.  like email scams, they are only targetting the most vulnerable marks.

Received a call on July 14 at 1344. Did not answer. Claimed from Dir Assist CA.

Called my Redwood City landline three times now.  I made the mistake of answering the first one which had the characteristic delay of popping over to a telemarketer.  Hung up.

Blocked on my phone now, but still they persist.
