They have called on both my landline and my cell. Persistent. All that can be done is to block them and hope they
eventually just go away....eventually!
Another unwanted call, leaving no msg, and quite surely a spoofed phone number appearing as if local. Getting such calls every day. I never answer them!
Get calls from 650-701-1984, caller ID shows Unknown Name and never leaves a message. This is not a valid number.
Interesting to know how the scammer's get no longer used phone number to spoof with... Or are they just random numbers. Number look-up show this was listed to a valid person... So that makes me believe it is not a random number.
The phone companies earn money from these calls. They have no incentive to stop them..
The callers use spoofed numbers. They use Magic Jack numbers. They change numbers, phone companies, and locations often. Many of them are based outside the US in 3rd-world countries that do not cooperate with US law enforcement. Stopping them is like playing Wack-a-Mole. You stop one and 2 more pop up.
