Thank you so much for the step by step ring central process. I also have ring central and just blocked this number. It seems that it may be a Google voice number as that is the only number that I know that the user can apply different options - such as "this number is out of service".
We received a call at 5:02 am that called all five of our "unpublished" cell phone numbers consecutively. When we looked up the number it was listed as American Trucking - name Chad and Tanya Guido. It also had an additional number of 510-777-1212. The 650 number came up as invalid when we called it, and the 510 number has been busy every time we have tried to call it. We called and reported it to Sprint, that said that they would not have released our information, however the numbers they called where all "unlisted" Sprint numbers and they did not call our comcast home number. I have no idea what they were trying to do - or if they accomplished it. If anyone can figure it out please let us know.
I keep getting the same calls around 10:30 EST on my extreme fax line(s)....I have 2. The number shows as a missed call...one right after the other. Whenever I tried to call it, it says that the number is disconnected. I don't know if this helps, but I have faxed something to myself once....whenever I received the fax, it showed up as a 650 area code call too. So, I wonder if it's extreme fax checking to make sure the numbers are working properly or something????
They keep calling my efax line...this time it was 22 calls in a row from 319 am to 321 am. They call every day but this is the first time for 22 times in a row.
This board is so helpful because people leave enough information that it allows us to build a picture of what is going on.
I have an 800# that receives faxes.
I got the "two in a row" calls this morning like Shelia did (poster above).
I traced the Guidos as well as Extreme Fax.
Here is what I think is going on. I think that Extreme Fax is probing numbers looking for available fax numbers that they can turn around an sell. I had this happen for months on end this spring with the calls came from a number in Brownsville, TX. I doubt that Chad and Tanya Guido are responsible for these harassing calls, but you never know. Because our 800 number is Voip technology with Ring Central I can block the (650) 777-1212 number.
