Voicemail--Scammer had my husband's name and birthdate and obviously his number. "Miss Nelson" stated that (person's name) had been charged with check fraud on our bank account. Said that the paperwork had been placed on her desk this morning and that we were to call if we had any information on the case.
Connected call to blank air. Most of the auto scam calls seem to pick up when you talk, so instead I blew into the speaker and the call actually hung up. Though looking it up, it came from California, well I did do a gig with a studio when they came to town for a background 'wallpaper' movie character... but found out this IS a scam call from a Land line. Added to my reject list.
