This # notifies you.  When you have been a victim to a crime, and the person who victimized you is in jail... it lets you know when he/she was released.

This number is for VineLink which is notification system for the Department of Corrections (DOC) that notify's anyone who wants to know about any movement by a person who is incarcerated in prison.  Movement(s) can be when an inmate moves from one prison to another, to a medical "reception" unit for health care, or for release from custody.  It is a very useful tool to keep track of a criminal, no matter if you are the victim, just curious, or as in my case a relative of someone who has a romantic relationship with said criminal and I am making sure that my family is and will continue to remain safe from this hardened and violent criminal.  VineLink will send text, emails, and/or calls including forwarding to your voicemail.  There is also a toll free number associated with VineLink and it is 877-846-3435 and will appear in the text messages.  The message will also have an abbreviation such as "FMI" which means "for more information" and call 877-846-3435 or www.vinelink.com these messages are normally proceeded by a header that will read like the following example for a Florida facility 'FLVINE MSG which means Florida VineLink Message and will be followed by the prisons first initial and full last name and the action or movement that has taken place for that prisoner and date of movement.  I trust this explanation will clear any confusion and help you understand what is happening when you get these contacts from the aforementioned numbers and/or website.  It's a legitimate service that you or someone else signed up for in the interest of public safety and knowledge.  Regards, Tedd
