Got a call from "Jim Martin," offering to come to my home and give me a "free" estimate. I had to ask what company he was calling for. He said something like Professional Contracting. I asked him why he didn't immediately say what company he was calling from. He didn't have much of an answer, not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He went on to ask me if I had any work to be done in my home. I told him I get calls from contractors wanting to give me free estimates every day. He then became loud and hostile. He yelled into the phone that the only way these calls will stop is for me to change my phone number. I asked why should I have to change my number. He again yelled into the phone for me to get off my [***] and do something about it. Then he hung up.
This guy is a real piece of work. I would estimate a 3rd of 4th grade education, tops...with the self control of a 6 year old.
I took his advice and submitted a complaint at complaints.donotcall.gov
Everyone here should submit complaints on this guy and if enough people do this, the FTC will prioritize this nitwit for an investigation.
