I received a message from this number. The message reads: "Hello Good Day and how are you doing today? I aM Mr. David Adams from (JUDGE INC). Your resume has been reviewed by the company Head dept and you have been choosen for an online job briefing and interview by me. Reply back if interested"
First of all, I did not apply online for such a job. Secondly, if the person is going to scam, he or she should write proper grammar. Lastly, I gave my number to some guy from Black Planet, and this is the result. I have no one to blame but myself. I usually have a burner phone, but I actually used my real number, and this is the result. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. This was a text message and not a phone call!

the message was from a supposed hiring manger from a Wistron Corp, looking to have an online interview, again on a Sunday evening. Red flag up there...
I responded that I was not available at that time, but would be this morning, so I was advised that I would need a Yahoo messenger account, and be contacted this morning for that interview.. It's is now Monday evening, and no further communication has been received. I have just emailed theladders.com to advise of this situation, and see if this company is a legit customer of theirs.
I just got a text from this number first one asked "Is this ___?" and then "Good day ____" (where ___ = my full name)... Since I use this line for my home business, I'm used to getting texts from unknown numbers, and asked who was texting, then got a response of being David somebody HR manager from Wistrom Corp about a resume I sent via a local job site I registered for, but have not used as yet to apply for anything, in preparation to move from one state to another. So I blocked the number with my call blocker app.
