Very insistent, rude male person who keeps calling even when told there is no homeowner available to speak with him and will not explain who he is with or what he wants with homeowner. Caller ID says Gus vega. Put on blocked call list. He Says he is with ECO California. Doesn't care we are on DO NOT CALL LIST. says he will call back in 5 minutes. Calls back in 2. Hung up on him.
After telling them we weren't interested in house painting and that our number was on the do not call list, they called over and over letting the phone ring only once. Same caller Gus Vega. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry.
Looks like scammers are trying to use "real names" in order to get you to pick up your phone. I don't answer any number or name I don't recognize, and more often than not, I don't let it go to voice mail either. I just answer on the first ring and I hang up. Blocking this caller.
