The pre-recorded call represented that they were calling about my credit card account. There were no problems, but there was an urgent matter regarding eligibility related to lower rates to which I had to respond. This was my "final notice". I pressed the requested digit and, when the agent picked up, I immediately said "I didn't want this call, take me off your call list". He responded "**** you, you ******." I responded "What did you say?" He responded "you heard me right." I then hung up.
The receive a phone call from the following number: 718-000-4583. They asked if I would like the opportunity to lower my credit card interest rate to 6.99% on my credit card. To find out more res "6"...I think. After I pressed the number t continue a girl came on th line and I asked i I had more than $4000 in credit ard debt. I asked her which credit card company was she talking about. She said..."all I asked was do you have $4000 in crdit card debt?" I asked what company she was calling fornd sh yelled t me and told me "this wasn't 20 questions" and became more than rude. I hung up and tried to call the number back but no answer. I am pretty sure this is a scam....can you find them based on the number? They wanted personal information.
