I have received two calls from this number now, first time it was a thick accented woman and all I was able to understand is she's from US Cellular (which happens to be my carrier) and I had been selected for some sort of $1,000 credit. I stated I'm not the account owner and hung up. About 30 minutes later I received a 2nd call with the US Government nonsense and I hung up again.
They called and said that they were from the US government and I have been selected for a US grant in the amount of 7000 of which I never have to pay back.
I hung up. Guessing it's a phishing scam or a solicitation but I didn' t stay on the phone long enough to figure it out. Also lady had a thick accent so she may not have even been in the US.
