these scammers will apply a bait-and-switch technique. They place sweet apartment deals on Craigslist then give you their "cell" number, one of them listed above. Once the call made, it will introduce you to some new line equity BS then the call will automatically transfer to some lady who introduces herself as new line equity.
after a few questions she would direct you to a website through email and attempt to charge you $9.95 for a so-called listing of apartments in your area that should be generated after you pay the $9.95. Only after that, first off, you will NEVER get any listing whatsoever and if you call her back to question her about the "list", she HANGS UP!!! Oh and the number listed on their website:http://www.newlineequity.com/contact.html will have some dude doing the same thing: hang up immediately after he discovers that you question him about their claim
If you fall into the trap and make the first payment, they will bill you $49.00 every month!!!!! the best solution is to report your credit/debit card lost and get a new one. Your new credit/debit card number will not match what they have on file anymore.
We found this ad on Craigslist that had this number attached to it; called and got to the point where "she" was going to send me the E-mail and I told her I'd call er back after consulting my wife.
