It's a very common scam. They pretend to "confirm" your details for a "free" ad in some vaguely-named but nonexistent "online yellow pages" and get you to somehow say yes to something, anything... then they take that recording of you saying yes and use that to say you agreed to something completely different while they charge your phone account big bucks. It's next to impossible to get it off, depending on how helpful your phone service provider is. Your best bet is to just not talk to these bottomfeeders at all, just hang up on them. And get your phone service provider to block all third-party charges just in case.
Got 4 calls from this number yesterday and 1 today. Unfortunately, my wife sometimes answers the phone with yes and when they called today they beeped in because she was on another call and answered "Yes". Person was a foreign speaking woman.
They keep calling me at work and hanging up without a word. I am going to try the federal communications commission. I had a similar thing happen to my cell phone last year by a different #. The # was impossible to call back but they used up all my minutes calling me repeated times a day and caused overages on my bill.
Our office receives calls from this number several times a day, everyday. No one ever says anything and the number is a non working number. I am requesting that we stop receiving calls from this number.
I get this same call a couple of times a week for the last month or so wanting me to update my information in the online yellow pages. I always YELL at them to stop calling me, but they continue. There is a delay and an echo on the line so I wondered if it were an outsorced call. Would LOVE for it to stop!
I have been receiving calls from this number for 2 days now, 4 to 5 times a day. No one says anything. I answer and say "hello, hello" and nothing. One call, a man with an accent, did say something. I could not understand him, and he did not sound loud, so I said I can barely hear you can you please repeat. Then nothing, so I hung up. Can something be done. This is annoying
