Indian scammer said he was from National Grid selling solar panels,

Saying nothing will not net these criminals anything so I don't think that is indicative of criminal intent. It is more likely terminal stupidity or DBS - as in Dead Brain Syndrome.

Sent to voice mail,  No message.

Called my elderly dad and pretended to be his grandson.
