Was at the Everything to do with Sex show in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Filled out ballots for free trips & discounts on trips. Was at the show on Jan 24th, received the call on Jan 27th. No voice mail was left. Other friends i was with at the show got calls from 1-212-736-6919 re the trip and it turns out that is a scam as well.
Just got a call - listened to her for 8 minutes to finally say no. I filled out some form at a trades show this past weekend. Same thing as others below. I have to pay $299 per person and that was only for the trip. I would still have to pay port taxes and processing fees AND airfare to Orlando. Makes me weary when I have to make up my mind right now on the phone.
I filled out a coupon 3 days ago and I got about 5 calls for 1 hour about an 8-day vacation, until the guy brought up the fee that I have to pay 300 dollars upfront. I knew when he said, " I see here you have a visa..." That was pretty obviuos, I never mentioned that anywhere, and also I donot have a VISA. I hung up and never picked up.
My wife just got a very similar call after filling out something that the vancouver autoshow. asked for 300 per person. Whan she said she would have to talk to me they just hung up.
I find it amazing how people write these alligations on this site when they personally registered for the vacation .the only people who complain like this are the one's who had no money to exept the great offer. It is a legitimate company and they give a discount so you can look at timeshare in florida...Keep in mind they send you to FLORIDA not IRAQ!When you fill out a form i suggest you pick up the phone the frst time they call and save 80% off a wonderful vacation
