the call came in as "name unavailable", with this number. i said hello, but there was no answer, and after a few seconds, i heard someone breathing into the phone, but not talking, and after a minute or so, they hung up.
the only strange part was that when i tried calling the number back (to find out who it was, and to ask to be added to their "do not call" list), i got a recording that "this number is not in service".
I have been getting a call EVERY DAY from this number for weeks, with the same thing. Total dead silence when I answer until it disconnects. When I call it back, number is not in service. I am reporting it to donotcall, but who knows if that helps?
