I have been getting the same threat, for about a year and a half, from whomever is it. They even call and say we have an agent in the area and you have 24 hours to call or you will go to jail. Blah, blah, blah. It's a scam, don't even answer the phone as they are phishing for your information.
They also have a woman that calls and does the same thing, same threat. They even they say they have an agent in the area and ask when will you be home so they can serve you within the next 24 hours to go to court. Sorry. it doesn't work that way!! They are using phone numbers that go back to Georgia, Vermont, Los Angeles and New York City. Someone made up a list of people that might have been behind in debt and now it's being sold around the country and the fools are trying to get money by scaring people, from past debt.
