Called today at 12:30 pm. Someone with a strange accent (Asian?) I couldn't quite place. He asked to speak with the "homeowner." I replied that there is no homeowner at this number. (This response usually gets rid of the home improvement callers.) He began addressing me in a scolding voice: "That is very unfortunate for you---" At this point I cut him off and told him not to preach to me about how I'm supposed to live--then hung up on him.
I don't know what this is all about, but I suspect I scam, some sort of investment scam based on shaming anyone who choses not to be a homeowner.
Asked to speak to homeowner. I asked if it was a telemarketing call. He said no. He wanted to talk to me about solar panels for my home. I told him we are not interested and hung up. I am also on do not call registry--guess that doesn't work!
