got two today 718-304-9701. No message. I have a prepaid phone so i dont answer calls i dont know. wondering if others called have prepaid phones as well.
I received a call from 718-304-9701 and he said that they were a pharmacy and wanted to refill my prescription. He had a VERY HEAVY Asian accent. I said no thank you, and he kept insisting that I buy something and he said that he would call back in a week and hung up before I could say anything else. Coincidentally, I was BOMBARDED with 10,000 (yes, TEN THOUSAND) spam pharmaceutical e-mails EVERY DAY for 7 days. Then on the eighth day I received a call from 347-227-3788 - same man - I told him he had the wrong number and to remove my number from his call list. Then the e-mails started to slack off to only 2,000 per day. But in between all of that I had gotten the IP address off of one of the e-mails (www.apnic.com I think) and found out the owner of the website and I started calling every phone number associated with it, of course all but a couple were bogus, but the couple I could get through to I left messages - most of this was a waste because the people spoke only Chinese - and one person I got through to I just kept calling back because I knew it was the middle of the night in China, so I was so pissed off that even though I knew he couldn't understand me, I just kept calling back to bother him. Out of all of this, one lady DID call me back and I told her about ALL of the messages I had been receiving from websites that she owned (or her company) and that I reported them to the FTC (alright, I'm sure that that didn't really scare them!), however, from that day on, the e-mails subsided, now I only receive a more normal amount of spam per day (20-30). Anyway, my suggestion is not to engage them in ANY conversation, if at all possible! P.S. Today I also received a call from 323-284-2460, which is why I came here, to lok it up, and I believe it is connected to the other numbers I mentioned!! Beware!
