Who called from 7183120910

My son and I both have been receiving calls from this number, stating same thing you all have been saying. My son told him no one by that name lived here and that he knew this was a scam and that if they kept calling he would get his lawyer on their butts. I tried the same thing and it didn't seem to scare him so I blocked the number, let the jerks try calling again lol.

Multiple calls from this number over the past 6 mos and hang ups.  They call when no one is home but I wouldn't answer if I was since they are on the east and I am on the west.  I have no dealings in the east coast so I don't know why anyone would waste time calling here.  Clearly the do not call list is just a supply of our numbers to the jerks calling bcz they know nothing will come of us reporting them .  What a scam the DNC has going here.... oh theres my phone ringing again with a spoofed number ! its getting old people

They called looking for a friend of mine who lives on the other side of the state. I took all the info but didn't give them mine. My friend called them back. They asked him to verify his SS# and birthday. He refused and asked what this is pertaining to. So they hung up on him. He called again. Same questions and same result. They are not a debt collector. They are fishing for personal identification data in order to steel your identity. Hang up on them. The person I talked to went by Louis Green at 718-312-0910 and the caller ID said Karen Smith.

My friend called to say he got a call from someone asking for me, asking questions on how to reach me they were trying to reach me about a debt.  My friend said im not releasing any info without speaking to me first.  He said to pass along his name and number to me.  the number that he called from was  718 312 0910, but said to have me call them back at  877 595 4318.  I called both numbers one of them just rang and rang, the other had a guy asking for some case number, when I asked who they were, they told me to verify my SS# and my DOB, I was like whats yours first.  He told me that If i didnt give him this info then they would be forced to file papers against my SS# and have it suspended!!   HAHAHAHA... Really? the US GOV. cant "suspend" my SSN, what makes you think you can, he yelled at me to just sit back and watch. I again said, ill be waiting, oh by the way, did you figure out who i was or what my SSN is?  he hung up on me.

I had someone call me from this number last night, and tell me that I had to call  this number back 1-877-595-4318... I did, and verified the code they gave me. A man then proceeded to tell me that I owed a verizon bill of $500... And they would be taking me to court for the amount of $1000... plus court fees. I automatically freaked out. I said I don't use Verizon... I have never gotten a bill or anything. And he told me some one close to must have stolen my ss# and set up an account. He told me in order to get the phone number, and address that this phone line`was hooked up at I would have to pay the bill in full. i kept telling him it didn't make sense... I told him I wasn't going to give out my card information... he told me that if I didn't they would take mt to court for the $1000 plus court fees... He tried very hard to scare me into giving him my info... I wouldn't... told him to take me to court... ugh... Part of me is glad to see that this number is a scam... For a minute this guy had me actually believing that someone had stolen my identity...
