called to say that i just won $6,700 grant from the government.She told me it was for being a loyal customer to the government and for paying all of my bills on time,and not having a criminal record I've won this.Then she asked me how i wanted the cash,on card,to my bank account....DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. SCAM!!!!
Michelle Langley claiming she is from the United States Government Treasury said that I was approved of $6,700.00 Federal Grant and also provided me the Grant ID #PC007. and told me to call Eric Brown at 315-294-9463 which I did. Because I was so desperate of financial help I did not even think about all this scams going on. So I called Eric Brown, gave him the Grant ID #PC007. Eric told me that in order to
claim the Grant I have to purchase $250.00 I-Tune gift card at CVS. I borrowed money purchase the I-tune gift card, gave him the barcode number at the back of the gift card. Then Eric told me to call Shaun Russell who Eric claimed that he is Banking Officer. I called Shaun with the number provided by Eric #646-593-7774 and also told me the same thing to purchase I-tune gift card at CVS, $590.00+ $250.00+$500.00+ $200.00+$15.00+$500.00 on different days because I really don't have money so I have to borrow from different people. Then after that Shaun told me again to purchase another $500.00 I-Tune gift card and giving him all the barcode number but I told him nobody gonna lend me any more money. When I will come up with the last $500.00 then he will give me my grant of $6,700 plus all the money that I borrowed that will come up to $9,000.00. I told him I cannot anymore. Then he said he is willing to deposit the $500.00 in my account and need all the information. I was so desperate so I gave him but told him I don't have anything in my account and if he is trying to take out money before he deposit his money it will come out insufficient fund. Luckily my account was block that he cannot log in no matter what he did. He kept calling me everyday but told him I don't money. Only last week he stop calling. Maybe because I called the Federal Trade Commission and told them about what this people did to me and they have to do something to avoid more victims and for consumer protection.. The Federal Trade Commission told me that in order to get a grant you have to apply for it. So they told me that this is a scam. I felt so bad because now I don't know how to pay the people I borrowed the money from and what to do with all the I-tune gift cards I bought.
