Got the same call time. First one a vm, then an actual person with heavy accent. I asked him to have the IRS send me a letter stating the problem and we will take care of it. Soon after that statement, the sound was shaky and then person hung up! DON'T GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!
MS-> Report the caller to the IRS. I tried to have a conversation with the scammers and they leveled a load of 4 letter words at me. These people need to be stopped! If the IRS wants to contact you they will send a letter explaining exactly what they are after. They do not call you will a recorded message and try to get a file of personal info from you.
