received call from heavily accented male stating that i owe money and charges have been brought against me, said i had to pay today or they were coming for me. also could not give me name of company i owe, dates and refused to send it in writing through mail. i said ok i will pay and he said i had to do money gram, but kept changing the info on the money gram and would not give me 4 digit code for moneygram and i have sent moneygram and know it requires this.
very rude and got angry when i asked questions, not paying them scammers
Received phone call from heavy accented male. Stated I owed money from a past payday loan that was never paid. He contacted my place of employment twenty (20)+ times and threatened my co-workers and my manager. How embarrassing! Wouldn't give name of company he was working for.
heavy accent guy keep calling saying I owe a pay day loan (never had one), said that if i do not pay charges will be placed against me. DId a little research of my own, come to find out these guys are scammers just out to get your money. (i'm not paying anything. First he said he was from OneClickCash, the he said he's from CashAdvance.
The irony of this nonsense operation is that Payday loans are not legal in New York. They cannot bring charges against you since debt is a civil matter and not criminal.
