I called this this number back to speak with "representative" Jason Smith (foreign speaker named Jason Smith), as per the message left.  When I called back "Jason Thomas" (foreign speaker) answered stating that I reached the Legal Department for the US Treasury.  I indicated that I would need "Jason Smith's" DOB and SSN to file counter suite.  I was told by "Jason Thomas" that I could talk to him because he was "the agent's supervisor."  I informed "Jason Thomas" that I needed to either speak with "Jason Smith" directly to obtain his DOB or SSN or would need this provided by "Jason Thomas."  He said, ok, hold on one moment and I will transfer you.  THEY HUNG UP.  If this was a real call, they would have immediately disputed why I needed this information.  I don't need a DOB or SSN to file a counter suite.  Please do not fall for these callers.

Received a call from an Indian sounding man "Jack Lewis" claiming to be from the Department of Legal Affairs telling me this was a verbal notification of a legal action against me.

Jason Smith from Dept. of Legal Affairs, phone # 718/725-8936.  Indian accent.  Asked to call back immediately for legal action and make sure that I had a lawyer present.  Hope he gets caught!
