called, no message left. no idea who caller is

numbered called. no message left either. but when i looked it up it said it was from a residence in queens, ny.

Received call, came up on ID, but no message.  I saw Brooklyn area code, and thought, now gee, who would be calling me from there at 9:40 pm EST? Probably no one I want to talk to...

Called no message left either, when I called back it said the number was out of service.... What is this!!!!

I received a call from 718-396-5898 today 9-18-08 at 3:51 p.m. P.S.T. It went to my voice mail, because I was driving on 405. No message was left on voice mail. But what bugs me, is I never give out my cell number, when I am filling out forms from a company etc., I give my home number and now I seem to be on (from what I am reading on this site) some jerk face telemarketer list!! If that is the case the caller will also sell my cell number many times.
