The message on our machine said that the package we requested to be picked up at the FedEx location at 1122 Lexington Ave would be available for pick up after 11am. The name on caller ID said FedEx, and the 718 number listed above also showed up. I did a google search (as we were not expecting a package) and found that is a NY area code. Then I googled FedEx on Lexington Ave in NYC and they have a totally different phone number. I called to ask what was going on and she said that the 718 call is SPAM and that they are looking in to it. 4/2/13 at 9:50am
718 number is not spam. It's the number to FedEx in the bronx. I got the same message for pickup location and time, only that... I did schedule a reroute. They probably called the wrong number.
