Long pause then plenty of background noise, but no official greeting from caller.

Same here - called several times in the past week, but leaves no message. Gotta be spam or scam.

Someboday name Steve from Statewide Merchant Account ....... Not polite and just hang up after asking many questions and I said I can't give any name.

I just got a call from this number...just dead air, no response when I announced myself. I so wish these people from all of these boiler room telemarketing scams could be rounded up and locked away. They cost business so much money.
