Global Touch now using phone #212-710-2912. Must have purchased a new cell phone to toss when the previous number got too "hot". The only way to prevent unwanted calls (Do Not Call list does NOT work) is to contact your provider and get info on their particular "block number" procedures.
Some woman called and asked if she could speak to the person responsible for paying the electric bill.She said she was calling from the electric company and that they had sent me a notice in the mail with an email address and that I was supposed to fill out some personal information.According to her I never did and that's why she was calling my house.I told her that i didn't receive any letter and I wasn't giving her any personal info. I asked her the name of her company and she mumbled Something Electric,on my caller ID it came out as Global Touch,then she said that the email address was sent with my bill and because I didn't respond with my info. I had to give it to them .Once again I told her I wasn't going to give it to her and she hung up.First of all I don't remember exactly the name of the company she mentioned but I' sure as hell it wasn't the name of mine.This call came from a 718 number and my electric company is 845. Oh! and by the way this whole conversation was in Spanish, she probably thought I was an illegal alien who could be easily suckered. SCAM!!!!!!!!
Keep getting phone calls from them. The person on the other end had a heavy Indian accent. He asked for my daughter. When I asked who was calling, they hung up. And they've called multiple times since then.
Global Touch calling 3-4 times a day from same phone # as above. I answered once. A Mexican man also was asking for the person who pays the electric bill. I have an Hispanic last name
