While telemarketers are allowed to legally call between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm your time, since you are on the DNC that question is moot. However, I can tell you that this is obviously a scam. Medicare is issued by the government (Social Security Administration) not some private insurance company. There is an open enrollment from October to December where Medicare recipients can sign up for certain plans (Advantage and Part D plans). As I understand it with few exceptions that is the only time you can sign up. In any case, I would certainly not sign up with any insurance plan that cold called me.
SOME BS Telemarketer.. Caller ID says 800 Medicare. Sorry but I am Not eligible for Medicare yet, and I certainly won't be calling you.. Especially when you don't know my "NAME" in which to call me back.. These people phising for customers.. Am on DNC list, they called at 8:30 AM.. is that legal? Wouldn't leave a company name to call back
